Amy Pitzer, DPM
Dr. Amy Pitzer joined Family Foot and Ankle Physicians in August 2008.
Dr. Pitzer received extensive training in reconstructive surgery as well as trauma
related injuries, including both foot and ankle fractures. She treats sports related
injuries in addition to all foot and ankle deformities. She is also well versed
in the latest wound care techniques.
Dr Pitzer graduated from East Carolina University in 2000 with a dual degree in
Biology and Chemistry. In 2005 she graduated from Des Moines University, College
of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She completed her three year surgical residency
in disorders of the foot and ankle at St. John North Shores Hospital in Detroit,
Michigan where she was awarded the Charles Pankratz Podiatric Surgical Scholarship.
